The Provo Herald has this editorial about plans to dewater 1.5 miles of the Provo River just above Utah Lake. Here's a quote from the editorial:

If it takes closing a river and negatively affecting a large number of people to possibly -- possibly -- save the sucker, then it may be time to let the fish sink or swim on its own. Either that or hurry up and probe its body for the elixir of immortality.

When it goes over the top, however, people rightfully object. Jamming live June suckers down the throats of residents along the Provo River is wrong.
