In late winter, trout can become finicky under the ice. Don Allphin offers some great tips in this article published in the Provo Harald. His tips include:

  • Using sonar to get bait to the exact depth of the fish
  • Using the smallest bait possible
  • Use sent to mask human odors
  • Fishing during hours recommended using solunar predictions

I've never put much stock in solunar predictions. How about you? I'd love to get your comments about solunar tables - do they make much difference?
