See Lots Of Deer, Snow Geese

Written by  Dave Webb

There will be exciting opportunities to see and photograph wildlife in Utah during the next few weeks. Our Division of Wildlife Resources reports that large herds of mule deer can be seen from roadways in some areas. The DWR has published this article giving viewing tips.

Beautiful, white snow geese migrate through Utah during late winter and thousands of the birds stop in marshes and fields near the Delta. Watching the birds has become a popular activity - the community hosts and annual "Snow Goose Festival" to educate people about the birds, provide coordinated viewing opportunities and other activities. DWR biologists participate and offer educational activities and help with viewing. See this article for more information.
