Strawberry Reservoir Fishing ReportPosted On: 2010-06-27 State: Utah Day(s) fished: 6-27-2010 Area on that water: All Over Hours fished: 5-10pm Weather Conditions: Blue Sky Air temp: 78 I rate fishing as: Fair Species caught: Cutthroat Lures/Baits/Techniques used: Triple Teaser
Notes: Most of the recent reports I had seen of Strawberry the fishing was reported slow. I have heard there is a big hatch this time of year that the fish have a lot of easy food. Add a full moon and that can lead to slow fishing. It should pick back up in the next week or so. Me and Dave Webb trolled about everthing in the tackle box with not many takers. I was able to hook into a beautiful 22 incher that about took my rod right out of the boat when it hit. It was a good strong fish other than that there were a few hits but nothing else landed. I didn't mind that fish kept me content for the rest of the afternoon. Thanks Dave it was a fun trip!
