Report posted by: Fish2Diamond Fork Fishing ReportPosted On: 2010-09-29State: Utah Day(s) fished: Sept 29 Area on that water: Three Forks Area Hours fished: 7-8 pm Weather Conditions: Fair - beautiful Air temp: 75 F Water temp: Cold I rate fishing as: Good Species caught: Brown Trout Lures/Baits/Techniques used: Black woolly buggers Notes: At 5:30 pm I decided I had worked hard enough and I deserved to go fishing. 15 minutes to gather up my gear, 30 minutes to drive up the canyon, 10 minutes hiking to a favorite spot and I was fishing. I cast a black woolly bugger against the far shore and let it arc down toward the bottom of the hole. I caught two browns and had several other good strikes. Saw a few bigger fish but couldn't hook them. I fished until dark and was home by about 8:30. Nice little break. | Click on a small photo to see a larger version
