Snowmobile Areas Redefined in Logan Canyon

The National Forest Service, Wasatch Cache National Forest, has issued a new decision defining what parts of the Tony Grove-Franklin Basin areas are open for snowmobile use.

Snowmobilers have been at odds with non-motorized recreation enthusiasts (cross-country skiers, snowshoers) about use of the area. In summary, the new decision expands slightly the area open for snowmobiling, and prohibits snowmobile use in the Bunchgrass and Hells Kitchen areas.
