I fished Minersville Reservoir and found action slower than expected. Caught one nice rainbow dragging a wooly worm behind my kayak. Released without touching the fish or removing it from the water.

Minersville is usually good for nice rainbows. Regulations there are artificial flies and lures only, with a slot limit, to allow trout to grow big. I fished during the afternoon and left before the good evening fishing starts. Probably would have caught a few more around sunset.

Minersville also offers wipers and smallmouth/largemouth bass. It would have been a blast to catch a wiper on a fly.
