Minersville Reservoir Fishing Overview
Overview: Trout and smallmouth bass fishing can be very good at this southern Utah reservoir. It is managed for trophy trout and produces large fish some years. The park at the reservoir has a sanded beach, a concrete public boat ramp, a 29 unit campground, flush toilets, hot showers, and picnic areas.
Location: From Beaver, travel southwest on Hwy 21 for 17 miles. Turn right into Minersville Park.

Depth: 44 feet.
Primary Fish Species: Rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, smallmouth bass, wipers.
Special Regulations:
Artificial lures and flies only. Limit 1 trout over 22 inches. All trout 22 inches or smaller must be immediately released. Cement outlet channel between dam and spillway pond (approximately 50 feet long) is closed.
Seasonal Factors: Better fishing in the spring and fall, when the fish come into the shallows to feed.
Fishing Tips: Float tubes are useful here. Crayfish imitations take trout and bass. Woolly bugger are popular with the fly fishers.
