Lava Hot Springs is a very nice, developed, family-friendly hot springs complex is SE Idaho. The naturally-hot water is very soothing. It ranges from 102-112 F. The spring is located on the east side of the complex. Pools closest to the spring are hottest. Temperatures are posted at each pool. The water flows through - it is not recirculated.
Rates are reasonable. When I visited, the adult fee was $12 and it was $10 for seniors and children. You can stay in the pools areas as long as you wish. If you leave, you have to pay again to re-enter.
Swimming pools are also available in a nearby location.
The complex is located in town, which has grown into a fun resort community. There are motels, campgrounds, restaurants, gift shops and other services.
