This waterfall was created when the Fremont River was re-routed to allow road construction in Capitol Reef National Park. It is located along Hwy 24 near the park's east entrance.
Back in the day we enjoyed swimming in the pool below the waterfall. Recently the park service ruled the spot is dangerous and so swimming is prohibited.
