The Santa Fe Indian Market is held annually during the 3rd weekend in August and organized by the nonprofit group, SWAIA, Southwestern Association for Indian Arts. This market is the largest juried Native arts show in the world. It boasts over 1,100 Native artists, belonging to different Native Tribes throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as over 150,000 visitors, art buyers, and collectors.
Visitors of the Santa Fe Indian Market have the original and unique experience to view and buy art directly from the artist, meet artists, and learn about Indian art and culture. The Santa Fe Indian Market prides itself on authenticity, meaning visitors are promised authentic and valuable art, in addition to an authentic Native experience.
The Santa Fe Indian Market is located in downtown Santa Fe. It covers 14 city blocks with over 600 artist booths. The market will be open each year from 7am-5pm Saturday, and 8am-5pm Sunday, on these dates:
