We bumped into this mule deer while we were hiking along the river in Zion Canyon. The park is home to a large population of deer and other wild animals. They are often seen by visitors riding the shuttle, driving the backroads, and hiking park trail. Fall is one of the best times to see wildlife in the Zion area.
