Mystic is a fun, quirky little hot springs resort located in the middle of Utah. It has a bit of a hippy vibe. The water is very hot when it comes out of the hillside (168 F) and the flow into pools is regulated to keep them at perfect temperatures. Soaking is enjoyable year-round, including the dead of winter.

The resort offers two pools and several bathtubs. It is becoming quite popular and so there are usually people in the pools and some of the tubs, but it is seldom overcrowded. Nudity, alcohol and drugs are not permitted. The resort hosts live concert events, where people can soak while listening to the music.

Several small cabins are located on-property for lodging. They also have old school buses converted into sleeping rooms, in addition to a campground that can accommodate tents and Rvs.

The pools are kept clean and are quite nice. The surroundings have an “unkempt” and rundown look. That did not kept us from enjoying the soak.
